We present some of the current theoretical and experimental aspects of
three proposed signatures for a QGP formation in relativistic heavy Ion
collisions, namely J/Psi suppression, dilepton enhancement, and Strange
Hadron Yields. The prospects for alternative scenarios are evaluated
using nonequilibrium models.
