The Friedmann models with Lamda = 0, subjected to several optical and radio tests within the standard and scale covariant theories of gravitation are examined. Both interferometric and scintillation data are interpreted in terms of selection effects and evolution. The full solution to Einstein's gravitational equations in atomic units for a matter dominated universe, the study of the magnitude vs. redshift relation for elliptical galaxies, the isophotal angular diameter vs. redshift relation, the metric angular diameter vs. redshift relation, and the integrated and differential expressions for the number count vs. radio flux test are discussed.
