Solutions of Rosen's equations of gravitation for a homogeneous
isotropic universe are obtained. The solutions resemble the Lemaitre
universe. A universal repulsive force, introduced in general relativity
by a positive cosmological constant, appears here directly as a
consequence of the (unmodified) field equations.
