The paper reviews data on bremsstrahlung from protons in thin-target and thick-target models for various types of proton spectra; consideration is also given to the contributions of pi(0)-meson decay, and bremsstrahlung from primary and delta electrons. In the case of a thick target the quantity of energy transferred into hard X-rays during bremsstrahlung is roughly the same for protons and electrons with the same initial velocities.
