Preliminary results of an analysis of a typical high-speed recurrent high-speed stream (HHS) of the solar wind for May-October 1973 are presented. It is shown that the recurrent HHS parameters and the associated cosmic-ray variations change not randomly but regularly with time. It is concluded that the duration of recurrent HHS existence should be taken into account in investigations of HHSs and related phenomena.
