The precise machine results of Capiluppi et al. (1974) on the inclusive reaction p + p yields p(-) + X at intersecting-storage-ring energies are fitted by a Bose distribution. This distribution is used to estimate the antiproton-proton flux ratio and the antiproton spectrum at the top of the atmosphere. The mathematical procedure employed is outlined, and the results are compared with those of previous investigations. The result obtained for the p(-)/p flux ratio (0.000917) is shown to be close to the results of Hayakawa (1964) and Rosen (1967) and to be in agreement with the value derived by Chen (1972) at 86,000 TeV.
