The low-orbit small unified space platform "Vulcan" is now developed in NIIEM. The unified space platform "Vulcan" includes the correction propulsion system with the ablative pulsed plasma thrusters. The propulsion system is designed in collaboration with RIAME MAI. The high-efficiency APPT of the next generation are developed in RIAME MAI. Such thrusters combine simplicity and reliability of the "traditional" pulsed thrusters with high thrust efficiency 25-40 % within the stored energy range of 50-100 J. Correction propulsion system of the platform "Vulcan" includes two 50 J thrusters APPT-50. It will be used for correction the orbit in altitude and inclination with 85 m/s characteristic velocity.
