This paper gives a coordinate-dependent 3 + 1 decomposition of the
geodesic law of motion. The equation is similar in form to the equation
of motion of electrodynamics except there is an extra term proportional
to the rate of change of kinetic energy and the vector potential. The
equation is solved for the acceleration explicitly.
