In AGU 2009 Fall Meeting, we proposed a plan to construct a planetary image data center on the internet, which links professional researchers and amateur observers all over the world. It has been realized using the PAONET database engine, which database collects astronomical images for public use (educational use, in particular) and is operated by the Public Astronomical Observatory NETwork (PAONET). Our Cooperative Planetary Image Data Center is now tested for the practical use, and is planned to be opened in public in 2010 autumn. A Japanese Venus orbiter, called "Akatsuki", was successfully launched in May 20, 2010 (UT). This AGU 2010 Fall meeting should be held just after the venus orbit insertion. We conduct a cooperative venus-observing campaign supporting the Akatsuki mission. With our campaign, the temporal and spatial context of the data brought by Akatsuki will be clear. Contributors to the campaign are requested to use the designated filters, and to submit images to the Cooperative Planetary Image Data Center together with some requested information (e.g., ephemeris data). In order to ensure the continuity of observation, we expected worldwide participants regardless of position and profession.
