The paper presents an analysis of synchronous digital recording of the magnetic components and vertical electric component for daytime geomagnetic pulsations at the midlatitude station Borok carried out with the aim of detecting a partial electric mode. Wave variations of the vertical electric field of the atmosphere exceeding the background noise level and connected with Pc3 pulsations were not detected. It is concluded that the electric mode does not make a substantial contribution to the field structure of typical Pc3-4 pulsations.
