We study the post-glitch response of four pulsars to obtain lower limits on the total moment of inertia of the inner crust superfluid. In contrast to previous work, our constraints are independent of the form of the crust-superfluid coupling. We conclude that the superfluid must comprise (approx. gt) 0.8 percent of the total moment of inertia of the star. This constraint rules out the softest equations of state.
