The recovery of the Unmanned Space Experiment Recovery System (USERS) spacecraft has been successfully completed in the morning of the May 30, 2003 (JST). This was the start point of the logical step towards the realization of the GEO SPS by the step-by- step evolution through adoption of Rendezvous and Docking (RVD), Robotics, WPT, and GEO platform construction test. The consideration of the development of the technology necessary for the SSPS has been divided into several elements and placed in the evolutional sequence. This paper will describe this step- by-step method to realize the final goal.
