The National Virtual Observatory (NVO) offers complete access to modern astronomy data, covering all instruments, at all wavelengths, at all times. The NVO's philosophy of EPO is to offer its technical services to existing EPO projects and products developed by the community, thereby enhancing already-successful materials by adding access to real data.
But how does this all work? How do the NVO's EPO partners interact with data supplied by the NVO, and how can new projects connect with these data? In this talk, we will give a very quick look "under the hood" at how the NVO works, and at how our EPO partner projects work with NVO services. We will also give handouts and web links to help EPO developers share in the rich data that the NVO provides.
Development of the NVO is funded by the National Science Foundation.
