We consider in more detail a particular realization of the schizophrenic neutrinos scheme, i.e., when flavor neutrinos are part Dirac and part Majorana, in a model with exotic right-handed neutrinos. We show that 1-loop effects imply small corrections to the neutrino masses without undermined the schizophrenic scheme keeping agreement with solar neutrino data. However, to generate a $\sin\theta_{13}$ in agreement with T2K result it is necessary to have just almost diagonal mass matrix in the lepton sector.
