A set of four gasdynamical models is proposed to study the complex process of the interaction between the atmosphere and a large meteor body in the case when the body's flight ends in its explosion-like destruction in the air. The examination is carried out for the case of the Tungusk cosmic body for which improved estimates of its main parameters are obtained. Its origin as a fragment of Comet Encke is found to be highly probable.
