Cosmic Rays: Energy Spectra, Cosmic Rays: High Energy

The recent experimental and theoretical investigations of the energy spectrum of the primary cosmic radiation in connection with its mass composition were analyzed mainly in the region of ultra-high energies. It is shown that the primary mass composition remains approximately constant up to energies 1016eV and the irregularity of the energy spectrum at energies ≥1015eV is related with high probability to the photodisintegration processes near the cosmic ray sources.
