In the previous paper, magnitudes of large earthquakes of the world were determined on a very uniform basis and catalogued. In order to arrive at a more homogeneous catalogue for a study of global seismicity, some complements are presented. The major complements are as follows: (1) The Ms values for the period 1904-1909 in the previous paper were overestimated, in the extreme case by 0.5 magnitude units. (2) The mB values for the period 1904-1908 in the previous paper were also overestimated. (3) The magnitudes of deep and intermediate shocks which are listed in Seismicity of the Earth by Gutenberg and Richter are found to be approximated by mB + (mB - 7)/4. (4) The catalogues of mB for shallow, intermediate and deep shocks are continued for the period up to 1980.
