Total ozone column measurements are compared between the Dobson spectrophotometer located at Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA, and two Microtops II photometers. The purpose of these comparisons is to determine whether the Microtops II ozone measurements are comparable to those obtained with the Dobson spectrophotometer. Results have shown that the handheld photometer can provide measurements within about 2% of the Dobson's. A comparison between the two Microtops showed approximately a 3% difference in the derived ozone overburdens. Better results with the two Microtops were obtained using the 305.5-nm and the 312.5-nm filters only.
