The main model atmospheres of Vega are described, and it is shown that
the best agreement with experimental results is obtained for the model
atmosphere with the parameters Teff = 9570 K and log g = 3.95. The large
radiation excess in the far infrared is shown to be caused by a dusty
shell around Vega.
