The agreement in values between the main experimental parameters of the ionosphere f_oF2 and f_oE in the European continent and the IRI-90 model is considered. In general f_oF2 absolute relative differences are of the order of 10 percent and less for day-time periods for all months of 1990-1991. For twilight and night periods they increase up to 20 or 30 percent. Relative differences for f_oE are less than 5 percent for day-time periods and usually are large during afternoon and twilight periods.
