The comet 9P/Tempel 1 - the main target of the Deep Impact mission was observed with Spectral Camera with Optical Reducer for Photometrical and Interferometrical Observations (SCORPIO) installed in the Prime Focus of the 6-m telescope of the SAO of the RAS on March 16-17, 2005 (Mount Pastukhov, Nizhny Arkhyz, Northern Caucase, Russia). The observations were obtained 2.5 monthes before collision of the copper impactor of the Deep Impact spacecraft with the 6-m nucleus of shortperiodic comet 9P/Tempel 1. During the same nights we observed also spectra of new comet C/2004 Q2 (Machholz). We present results of the processing of middle- and high-resolution spectra and monochomatic images of both comets obtained on March 16-17, 2005. The detailed identification of emission lines in the high-resolution spectra was made. Physical parameters (velocities of outflow, life time and rate of gas-poductivity of the CN, C2 and C3 molecules) of the cometary neutral atmosphere are calculated. The presence of the cometary luminescence continuum (non-solar origin) in the comets spectra is discussed.
