Correlations between the heights of the equipotential and physical
surfaces are examined for the earth, Venus, Mars, and the moon. It is
shown that large-scale topographic features affect the moon, Mars, and
Venus considerably more than the earth. These features are almost fully
compensated in the case of the earth.
