Solutions are presented for the radiative transfer equation of the three-dimensional solar atmosphere model in the one-dimensional Feautrier approximation. A three-dimensional solution is also given, based on the momentum method. It is concluded that the three-dimensional transfer leads to a significant decrease in the mean intensity fluctuations in the upper photospheric layers.
