On the basis of the evolution of comet Grigg-Skjellerup's orbit and the characteristics of the meteor stream which was observed, an attempt has been made to determine possible time limits for the formation of the stream cluster associated with the comet. Modeling of the motions of meteor particles ejected from the comet's nucleus near perihelion at each return of the comet towards the Sun beginning with 1964 showed that one may expect a weak meteor stream in 1997.
