Turbulent plasmas in the magnetosphere, the magnetosheath and the magnetospheric tail were studied. Nonlinear theory of tearing-mode instability was developed. Turbulence associated with the phenomena of spread-F and of the equatorial electrojet (type 1 and type 2 irregularities) was examined. Propagation characteristics of whistlers and whistler solitons, and the nonlinear effects of solitons were investigated, as were VLF and ULF emission.
