We obtain expressions for the first and second order forces arising from the coherent interaction of galactic neutrinos with finite-thickness material targets. For any geometry, a uniform flux gives only a second order force, of typical magnitude 10-23 dyn/g, but artificially-produced neutrino density gradients could, in principle, add a significant first order contribution. Some preliminary comments on future detection feasibility are included.
