This study investigates time variation in the number of polar faculae during the period 1952-1998.. The analysis has focused on searching relations between the numbers of polar faculae in adjacent latitudinal zones on the Sun's northern and southern hemispheres and also between the numbers of the polar faculae on the northern and southern hemispheres using cross wavelet transform and wavelet coherence.
