We carried out sensitive CO(J=1-0) observations toward the LMC with NANTEN, a 4m radio telescope of Nagoya University at Las Campanas Observatory, Chile. The spectrometers were two acousto-optical spectrometers (AOSs) with 2048 channels. The pointing accuracy was better than 20", as checked by optical observations of stars with a CCD camera attached to the telescope, as well as by radio observations of Jupiter, Venus, and the edge of the Sun.
