We propose to observe with the Mopra 22m. telescope the hosts of four blazars in the CO(1-0) line. These objects have been detected with Cherenkov detectors as TeV sources, and they are well studied in most bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. However, their hosts have not been searched for molecular gas so far. With these observations, we want to provide support for the unified schemes of radio loud AGN, as well as to improve the current knowledge of the molecular gas content of AGN hosts, thus obtaining clues about the AGN origin and jet phenomenon.
