Using 9.1 fb-1 of Υ(4S) data collected with the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron-Positron Storage Ring, measurements are reported for the branching fractions and helicity amplitudes for the decay of B → D*ρ and branching fractions and isospin amplitudes for the decay of B → Dπ. The fraction of longitudinal polarization for bar B0 -> ;D{* + } ρ ^ - is measured to be consistent with theoretical prediction, and indicates that the factorization approximation is quite good. The measurements of B → Dπ branching fractions are used to determine the strong phase difference δI between the I = 1/2 and I = 3/2 isospin amplitudes. The measured nonzero value of strong phase difference suggests the presence of final state interactions in the Dπ system.
