A crude application of the CLEAN algorithm to multifrequency analysis
can reveal underestimated amplitudes and inaccurate frequencies. We show
here that with a few cautions, these effects can be correfted for. The
CLEAN algorithm then becomes an efficient tool for this kind of
analysis, which benefits the parallel use of different methods.
