Post-processing of simulation-generated data for models such as the Coupled Magnetosphere-Ionosphere-Thermosphere (CMIT) suite is usually done on an ad hoc, scientist-by-scientist basis. As we are working toward transitioning the CMIT models into a real-time operation, it is necessary to have analysis and prediction tools that are more centralized in nature. We within the CISM Knowledge Transfer Group are working toward the development of an integrated post-processing and analysis tool package that will greatly reduce the time needed for assessment of simulation-generated data. We will discuss progress toward real-time operation, and demonstrate how a centralized, network-aware, plug-in-oriented post-processing suite can greatly increase scientist and forecaster productivity, allowing for efficient real-time analysis and prediction. Utilizing the CMIT models within the CISM framework, we will demonstrate how productivity can be improved by analyzing well-known events with an early version of our suite of tools.
