We are carrying out a survey at mm and cm wavelengths of disks around Herbig Ae/Be (HAaBe) stars. Previously, we have observed the disks around 9 HAeBe stars using the PdB and VLA telescopes, and carried out a comprehensive study by combining our data with those in the literature. As a result (see Alonso-Albi et al. 2009), we concluded that the higher mass stars (>7 Msun) are surrounded by disks 1 order of magnitude less massive than solar mass stars, a result which agrees with the most recent theoretical models of disk-photoevaporation (Gorti & Hollenbach 2008). We also found evidence that the massive disks (>0.1 Msun) are preferable associated with stars of 3--6 Msun. If confirmed, this conclusion would have important implications for star formation studies. Nevertheless, the very few disk detections in this stellar mass range prevent us from a definitive conclusion. We propose to complete our survey with 4 additional objects. The new observations will provide a valuable insight into the properties of these massive disks and, together with previous data, will provide essential pieces of information on the lifetime and evolution of the disks around HAeBe stars.
