New radio continuum observations at 20, 6, and 2 cm, new near-IR photometry from the central 14 arcsec region, and new CO(1-0) and CO(2-1) observations of the barred spiral galaxy NGC 1022 are described. No evidence is found for a circumnuclear ringlike structure. Radio continuum emission is detected only from the central 20 arcsec of the galaxy in a compact core and a weaker second component to the north. The spectral indices of the integrated fluxes at the three wavelengths are flatter than an average disk spectral index. A molecular hydrogen mass with a diameter of 3.3 kpc of a billion solar masses is estimated. The observed near-IR colors are J-H = 0.82 and H-K = 0.35.
