Recent X-ray observations have shown that intracluster medium has nonprimordial composition. Iron lines have been detected. Preliminary results on modeling of the chemical evolution of the intracluster medium in galaxy clusters are presented. The Galactic winds driven by supernovae are considered in detail, taking into account the binding energy of the galactic gas. An attempt is made to explain the metallicity gradient observed in the Perseus cluster from morphological segregation of galaxies in the inner part of the cluster.
