We propose to observe the clusters of galaxies Abell 262 and Abell 2052 each for 130 ks. The excellent statistics of the RGS and EPIC spectra will allow us to accurately measure the elemental abundances, like oxygen, silicon, sulfur and iron, and determine their spatial distribution. Using the measured abundances we will test theoretical supernova yields and deduce the chemical enrichment history of these clusters.
