The diffusion of charged particles in a weak isotropic turbulent magnetic field without any constant background magnetic fields is considered in a diffusion approximation on the basis of the Fokker-Planck equation. The validity of the Fokker-Planck equation in this context is discussed, and expressions for the particle fluxes are obtained in the framework of the diffusion approximation. It is found that the particle fluxes correspond to isotropic diffusion, which contrasts with the case where a constant background magnetic field is present, and diffusion along and perpendicular to that field occurs at different rates.
