It is argued that the charge dependence of the nuclear force (Vnn≠Vnps) can be accounted for exactly in triton binding energy calculations to first order in the difference Vnn-Vnps by replacing the 1S0 interaction by the potential combination (2/3Vnn+ 1) / 3 Vnps. .AE
