Vertical muon fluxes of cosmic rays in the energy range 3-50 TeV have been determined from X-ray emulsion chamber measurements. The results are compared with data in the literature. The measured vertical muon flux suggests that the fraction of muons formed as a result of the decompositon of charmed particles equals 0.2-0.4 percent for an energy of about 100 TeV.
