The paper presents an analysis of the operation of individual SGM-14 charged-particle counters at the Iakutsk cosmic-ray facility and of the cosmic-ray telescope made up of such counters at temperatures ranging from -9 to +20 C. The counting characteristics and the amplitude differential spectra of the counters were evaluated. It is shown that continuous high-voltage correction in the case of ambient-temperature variations, i.e., elimination of the instrumental variations, makes it possible to use the SGM-134 proportional counters to determine the anisotropy of high-energy cosmic rays with averaging over approximately one year.
