The concentration of cosmogonic and radiogenic rare gases in the Jilin meteorite show great variation. There is an approximately linear correlation between cosmogonic He-3, Ne-20, Ne-21, Ne-22, and Ar-38, and between radiogenic He-4 and Ar-40. There is an approximately linear correlation between He-4 and Ar-40 and cosmogonic Co-60 with meteorite depth, but no linear correlation between He-4 and Ar-40 and cosmogonic Ne-21 on the depth scale in the parent body. These results show that the concentration distribution of He-4 and Ar-40 in the Jilin meteorite is inhomogeneous and irregular in the parent body, and that the concentration of He-4 and Ar-40 in the meteoroid increases from the surface toward the center. An attempt is made to explain the unique characteristics of the He-4 and Ar-40 distribution concentration in the Jilin in terms of impact effects between the parent body and asteroids.
