The changing universe model (CUM) currently describes the rotation velocity curve of spiral galaxies and relates the central mass of galaxies to the radius r to a discontinuity in the surface brightness versus radius curve (SESAPSÂ'03, session EB 3). For a sample of 31 spiral galaxies with Cepheid based distances, the 21 cm line width, the de Vaucouleurs radius, and galaxy luminosity that indicates Source strength are found to be related to r. For 28 of the 31 sample galaxies, the luminosity divided by the square of the distance of neighboring galaxies directed along the polar axis is found to be related to r, also. The latter finding suggests galaxy parameters are a function of Source strength of galaxies and distance to the Sources. Full text: http://web.infoave.net/ ˜scjh.
