A numerical analysis of the change in the parameters of the interplanetary plasma at an MHD shock front is presented. Attention is given to changes in plasma parameters for weak and strong magnetic fields, reflecting conditions in the solar-wind plasma and inside the earth's magnetosphere. It is shown that, in the case of anisotropic pressure, the change in the field at the shock front is smaller than in the isotropic case.
