Solar-Terrestrial Relations: Solar Flares

The space-time characteristics of the flare activity of 130 groups of spots are examined according to the present Solar-Geophysical Data. It is established that flares of importance S and time series of flares originate in certain sites of active regions-centers of flare activity. Is is found that after periods of active operation of centers of flare activity a growth in geomagnetic activity and sudden-onset geomagnetic storms follow.
