We present CCD photometry in the BVRI system of the open cluster NGC 2355, a largely unstudied cluster located in the galactic anticenter. Presented are results obtained using both IRAF/APPHOT and DAOPHOT to reduce multiple datasets obtained with the UAO 61-inch telescope, Mt. Bigelow, Arizona. The resulting color-magnitude diagrams show a well-defined sequence from the turnoff, near V = 12.7 and B - V = 0.3 to V~17, and present several giant candidates. It appears that NGC 2355 is a cluster whose age is on the order of that of Praesepe; fitting of theoretical isochrones allows an numerical value of (2.51 +/- 0.83) times 10(9) years.
