Magnetic Fields: Celestial Bodies
Scientific paper
Using numerical evaluations, an attempt was made to prove the hypothesis that for the matter of a cosmic body in its own gravitational field, it must be energetically efficient to create an electric polarization, provided that the mass of the body is large enough. It has been shown that if such an effect exists, it might explain, by an order of magnitude, the observed values of magnetic fields of cosmic bodies and their dependence on the angular momenta.
