Geometrical parameters for three merger remnants in simulated N-body merging are presented as a function of viewing angle. The first two remnants are obtained respectively from a head-on collisions and a circular impact of two spherical galaxies, while the third comes from the circular collision of a spherical and a disk galaxy. The remnant from two spherical galaxies shows boxy isophotes with high probability, although in about 20 percent of cases the remnant could be classified as disklike. The remnant of a collision between a disk and a spherical galaxy is characterized by a predominance of disklike isophotes, although a tail of boxy projections is still present in the distribution. Correlation between a(4)/a and photometric or kinematic parameters discussed in the literature are reviewed in the light of these results.
