The paper describes the calibration of the ultraviolet spectrophotometer
in the Netherlands Astronomical Satellite, launched 30 August, 1974. The
instrument response curves have been determined in a vacuum optical
bench facility. The absolute calibration was obtained by comparison with
a standard. The final result is believed to be accurate to 30%.
