WFPC2 images of Mars obtained during the first week of March 1999 will be used to help establish the absolute calibration of the Mars Orbiter Cameras {MOC} on Mars Global Surveyor {MGS}. MGS will be executing sequences designed to select the optimum secondary position on the MOC NA camera during this time. The sub earth point on Mars will be in the plane of the MGS orbit during this week, so that during this time the viewing geometry of the WFPC2 coincides with that of MOC.
