In two observations of this series (10 ks + 60 ks), ACIS will be in the stowed position under the SIM cover to calibrate the particle background in the normal imaging mode. At the same time, HRC-I will be observing RXJ1856.5 far off-axis in NIL mode to calibrate that detector's QE. In a third, supporting observation (7 ks), this object will be observed on-axis with HRC-I in the normal mode. The 70 ks total ACIS exposure is a leftover from the AO3 dark Moon calibration; the HRC-I onaxis 7 ks is additional. (MM is submitting on behalf of LPD with CJF's approval)
